About us
The Master Trainer Institute was founded in 1995 by John Townsend, a trainer who recognized a need for better training and development for trainers in Europe.
The institute offers a range of workshops and programs, including the original Master Trainer Program, which is based on accelerated learning techniques & interactive, fun learning to enhance the learning process.
The philosophy behind the institute is that serious learning should be interactive and fun, training should be linked
closely to organizational goals, and training should be
designed according to learning principles.
Over time, the institute expanded its product range to
include workshops for line managers and strategic training
for training managers.
Fiona Hunter joined the institute in 1997 as a program manager and workshop coach, helping to develop new offerings and refine processes.
In 2006, Richard Bradley took over from John as Head of the Institute, bringing his own creative touch to content and delivery. The institute continues to offer High-Quality, Interactive Training for trainers, managers, and others involved in people development.

MCIM is the Master Trainer Institute's Managing Director and Course Leader on all of the Institute's programmes. Richard has a wealth of worldwide training experience in an extensive range of market segments and in both private and public sectors.
Richard completed studies in Business and Finance and spent 15 years in Sales and Marketing Management in England working for two of the largest financial institutions in their field.
Since moving to Switzerland in 1995, Richard has worked in a management role in Humans Resources as well as setting up new companies.
He has been delivering Training Courses and Training Consultancy with the MTI for more than 20 years.
